Accessibility statement

Accessibility level

We worked to make the site meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568 Part 1, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA.

What we did

• A clear page structure with ordered headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move between sections.
• Full keyboard navigation, a skip-to-content link and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and accessible names for buttons, links and controls.
• Colour contrast that meets the standard, and text that can be enlarged to 200% with the browser zoom without losing content.
• Language and reading direction set on every page, in English and in Hebrew.
• A layout that adapts to phones, tablets and computers.
• Animations and content that changes on its own can be paused or stopped, and the site respects the reduce-motion setting of your device.
• Videos play with sound only when you choose to, and have a pause button.

The accessibility menu

The accessibility button in the corner of every page opens a menu where you can:

• Enlarge the text, in three steps up to 150%
• Switch to high contrast or to grayscale
• Highlight links
• Switch to a simple, readable font
• Increase the spacing between lines, letters and words
• Stop all animations and moving content
• Make the keyboard focus indicator stronger
• Use a large mouse cursor

Your choices are saved in your browser and stay on as you move between pages. You can reset them at any time.

Known limitations

• The videos on the site do not yet have audio description or a full transcript. We will gladly send a transcript on request.
• Links to other websites, including social networks, lead to sites we do not control, and their accessibility is not covered by this statement.
• Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. If you come across one, please tell us.

How we checked

The site was checked with an automated accessibility testing tool (axe-core) and by hand, including keyboard-only navigation, at computer and phone screen sizes. For the best experience, use an up-to-date browser and assistive technology.
